The San Francisco Giants have re-signed free agent right-handed pitcher Ryan Vogelsong to a one-year contract, club Senior Vice President and General Manager Brian Sabean announced today. Per club policy, financial terms were not disclosed.

The 37-year-old went 8-13 with a 4.00 ERA in a career-high 32 starts for the Giants in 2014. His 184.2 innings and 151 strikeouts were the second-highest totals of his big league career.

The 2011 All-Star and Giants "Willie Mac" award winner has posted a career record of 49-57 with a 4.42 ERA in 232 games (143 starts) with San Francisco (2000-2001; 2011-2014) and Pittsburgh (2001-2006).
