Gloves for Kids set for Sept. 29

The Kansas City Royals alongside Royals Charities are excited to host Gloves for Kids on Saturday, September 29.

KANSAS CITY, MO (September 24, 2018) - The Kansas City Royals alongside Royals Charities are excited to host Gloves for Kids on Saturday, September 29.
The event will take place at the Urban Youth Academy and starts at 11 a.m. Four groups of Royals players will be simultaneously signing autographs. Fans must purchase a ticket to ensure autographs. Fans can also reserve their spot in line by purchasing their ticket ahead of time. Tickets guarantee one autograph from each player in their designated group. Proceeds from the tickets go towards broadcaster Ryan Lefebvre's Gloves for Kids, which supports underprivileged youth by purchasing baseball gloves and other equipment. Since 2001, Gloves for Kids has raised more than $130,000 in baseball equipment for area youth baseball and softball players.
Kids ages 8 -14 years old can join the Kansas City Royals Minor League Player of the Year award winners as they host a clinic for Gloves for Kids at Urban Youth Academy from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 a.m. Register at royals.com/glovesforkids. Clinic will be limited to 75 youth.
Fans are also encouraged to keep their tickets from the autograph session to receive a 2-for-1 admission into the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
Later that evening, the Royals will also host Fan Appreciation Night when the club plays the Cleveland Indians. Fans can pick up a hooded sweatshirt giveaway, participate in games and contests and watch a special fireworks show following the conclusion of the game. First pitch is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
