Contract tender deadline looms for 7 Dodgers

Los Angeles deciding whether to extend offers to arbitration-eligible players

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers have seven unsigned players eligible for salary arbitration as Friday's 5 p.m. PT contract tender deadline approaches.
This year's arbitration-eligibles and their 2016 salaries: , $2.8 million; , $1.39 million; , $900,000; , $725,000 million; , $532,900; , $530,000; and , $527,000.
Arbitration-eligible players who are tendered contracts can continue to negotiate with the club. If no settlement is reached, their salary will be determined through the arbitration process.
Last offseason, the Dodgers also had nine players eligible for arbitration. They tendered or signed eight of them and non-tendered reliever , making him a free agent. They also non-tendered reliever , who wasn't eligible for arbitration, to clear a 40-man roster spot. The Dodgers later re-signed Bonilla.
