Hilarious Twitter Exchange Between Red Sox Players
I love this 2013 Red Sox team. You know who they remind me of? The 2004 Red Sox team. Y’know what that team did? They bonded remarkably in a level of camaraderie, fueled by chops-busting players like Kevin Millar, Mike Timlin, Manny Ramirez and Pedro Martinez. Self-proclaimed “idiots”, the 2004 Red Sox had fun on the field.
Oh. And they also won the World Series in the most dramatic fashion imaginable.
The 2013 team is bringing that loveable team camaraderie back after a very disappointing 2012 campaign. Led by the biggest ballbuster in the MLB, Dustin Pedroia, the clubhouse vibe is making Sox fans excited, entertained and energized for a big year.
Take a look at the exchange below between Pedroia, Mike Napoli, and Jacoby Ellsbury. I love it and it makes me wanna hang out with all of them.
Congrats to @jacobyellsbury on his 200th bag. Pretty amazing considering how slow you are!
