AT&T Park Opening Week

Homestand Features: Hunter Pence Bobblehead, Farewell to the 'Stick Scarf

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - The San Francisco Giants open their 15th season at AT&T Park with a 10-day, nine-game homestand against the Arizona Diamondbacks (April 8-10) Colorado Rockies (April 11-13) and Los Angeles Dodgers (April 15-17).

On Tuesday, April 8, the Giants will take on the Diamondbacks in their home opener at 1:35 p.m. Gates will open at 11:05 a.m. and the first 40,000 fans will receive Opening Day Calendars, presented by AT&T. Fans are asked to be in their seats by 12:45 p.m. to enjoy the pre-game ceremonies, including traditional team line ups; the unfurling of the American flag; the singing of the National Anthem by California based, American Indie Pop Duo Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian, known for their number one hit, "Safe and Sound," Capital Cities; and the ceremonial first pitch.

Wednesday, April 9, the first 40,000 fans will receive a Hunter Pence Bobblehead, presented by PG&E.

Thursday, April 10, is Farewell to the 'Stick Night at AT&T Park. Throughout the game, all fans can enjoy entertainment centered on the Giants time at Candlestick Park. Special event ticket holders will receive a collector's edition stadium replica of Candlestick Park. The VIP Triples Alley Farewell to the 'Stick event includes a Q&A with current and former 49er and Giants players, and each guest will receive a special Croix de Candlestick long sleeve t-shirt. The first 20,000 fans will receive a Farewell to the 'Stick Scarf, presented by State Farm. Honored on the field prior to the game will be alumni from both the Giants and 49ers who called the 'Stick home including Orlando Cepeda, Roger Craig, Jeffrey Leonard, Dave Dravecky, JT Snow, Tiny Felder, Rich Murray, Brent Jones, Joe Staley, Dan Skuta, Roger Craig, Bruce Miller, McLeod Bethel-Thomson, Vernon Davis, Aldon Smith, CJ Spillman, Bruce Miller, Guy McIntyre, Dennis Brown, Frank Nunley and Keena Turner.

On Friday, April 11, fans are invited to stay after the game to enjoy Fireworks Night at AT&T Park, presented by Hanwha.

Saturday, April 12, the first 20,000 fans will receive a Giants' Sports Bag, presented by Good Neighbor Pharmacy.

Prior to the game on Sunday, April 13, special event ticket holders will be able to participate in a Q&A session with current Giants players and coaches and present their PONY League banner during a parade on the warning track. The first 7,500 fans ages 14-and-under will receive Sports Sleeves, presented by Powerade. Following the game, all kids 14-years and younger are invited to come run the bases.

The Giants will enjoy a day off on Monday, April 14, and then wrap up their homestand with a three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, April 15-17. Tuesday, April 15, is Jackie Robinson Day. A portion of the proceeds from each special event ticket sold will benefit the Jackie Robinson Foundation.

Wednesday, April 16, the first 20,000 fans will receive Giants' Magnet Schedules, presented by RE/MAX.
