Homestand highlighted by Game of Thrones night, Alumni Game and Heroes Weekend

  • SURPRISE MILITARY REUNION: The D-backs will welcome home a US Army Staff Sergeant to surprise his family during the game after a year-long deployment.

  • ALUMNI GAME, presented by Sanderson Ford: Beginning at 4:30 p.m., D-backs alumni including Luis Gonzalez, Mark Grace, Steve Finley, David Dellucci and Matt Williams will take the field to play a three-inning game. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. and will be open seating for the Alumni Game. More information and a full list of alumni expected to participate can be found at dbacks.com/alumni.
  • HEROES WEEKEND - LAW ENFORCEMENT NIGHT: The D-backs will recognize uniformed police officers from around the Valley during a special pregame ceremony as part of Heroes Weekend. Fans will be able to explore various first responder's vehicles and demonstrations along the Gila River Casinos Plaza starting at 2 p.m., including SWAT armored vehicle, barricade vehicles, squadron SUVs, horse-mounted police, K-9 demonstrations and helicopter flyovers. The colors will be posted by a four-man team from the Maricopa County Sherriff's Office. Maricopa County Sherriff Paul Penzone and Phoenix Police Assistant Chief, T.J. Martin will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. In addition, a portion of the ticket sales purchased at dbacks.com/heroes will benefit the 100 Club of Arizona and other non-profit organizations that support fallen heroes.
  • CRESCENT CROWN SERVICE MASTERS: The D-backs and Crescent Crown Distributing will recognize the top performers in the Crescent Crown Service Master Program, a program that recognizes employees who have provided quality service and have gone above and beyond customer and colleague expectations.
  • D-BACKS EXPRESS: The D-backs offer a hassle-free way to see a D-backs game for fans in Tucson. A luxury bus will pick up fans at the Foothills Mall in Tucson and drops off fans in front of Chase Field, with a guarantee to receive that day's giveaway item.   • Ceremonial First Pitch: Sanderson Ford

SUN., JULY 9 | 1:10 P.M. | CINCINNATI REDS              

  • HEROES WEEKEND - FIRE AND FIRST RESPONDERS DAY, presented by APS: The D-backs will recognize uniformed firefighters and first responders from around the Valley during a special pregame ceremony as part of Heroes Weekend. Fans can enjoy an antique firetruck on the plaza as they enter the stadium and the APS Clown Troupe will do face paintings in the Sandlot. The Police and Fire Pipe & Drum band will perform on the field before the game and colors will be posted by Phoenix Fire Department. Phoenix Fire Chief Kara Kalkbrenner and Phoenix Firefighters Local 493 Union President Steve Beuerlein will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.   • SUBWAY KIDS AND FIREFIGHTERS TAKE THE FIELD: Kids ages 7-15 and firefighters, selected by APS, will "Take the Field" with D-backs players prior to the national anthem.
  • DOG DAYS OF SUMMER: Fans can enjoy the game with their canine friend from the PetSmart Patio. Fans can use the PetSmart Dog Park and treat their dog to doggy concession favorites such as doggy ice cream. PetSmart will also have adoptable dogs on site for fans to find a forever home for the pups. For more information, visit dbacks.com/dogdays.
  • COLD STONE KIDS SUNDAYS: Each Sunday home game, one winner is selected to deliver the lineup card to the umpires with a D-backs coach before the game and deliver Cold Stone Ice Cream to the D-backs' broadcast booths.
  • KIDS RUN THE BASES FOR PCH: Kids ages 15 and younger are invited to run the bases after the game and can line up on the ramp near section 110 immediately following the game. The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will donate $1 to Phoenix Children's Hospital for every kid that crosses home plate.
  • FOX SPORTS ARIZONA/SANDERSON FORD KIDKASTER: One lucky kid will have the opportunity to work in the FOX Sports booth for a half-inning, Arizona Sports 98.7 FM booth for a portion of the game and work as the PA announcer during the second inning when the D-backs are up to bat. The KidKaster winner will also get a tour of the FOX Sports Arizona production truck, appear on the pregame show and interview a D-backs player. The D-backs will host Kidkaster auditions in the Phoenix Children's Hospital Sandlot from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. For more information, visit online at kidkaster.com.
  • SANDERSON FORD CRONISTA INFANTIL: The D-backs and Sanderson Ford will host the next Cronista Infantil as a guest on the D-backs' Spanish radio broadcast alongside Oscar Soria and Rodrigo Lopez during the game. Kids ages 10-14 are encouraged to sign up and audition to become the next Sanderson Ford Cronista Infantil by visiting losdbacks.com/kids.
  • D-BACKS KIDS CLUB, presented by Danzeisen Dairy: The Kids Club is a free program for kids 15 & younger that rewards members with prizes for each game they attend, including a complimentary ticket to Sunday home games. Fans can register at Chase Field in the Phoenix Children's Hospital Sandlot, or online at dbacks.com/kidsclub.
  • MAJESTIC ALL-STAR SEND OFF: The D-backs and Majestic will be joined by patients from Phoenix Children's Hospital to present the player(s) that will represent the D-backs at the 2017 MLB All-Star Game with a personalized Majestic All-Star Jersey prior to the game. In addition, the Team Shop will have Majestic All-Star jerseys along with assorted All-Star items available for purchase.

COMMUNITY EVENTS                                   

  • D-BACKS AUTHENTICS: The D-backs sell game-used and authenticated merchandise ranging from game-used bases, jerseys, bats, balls and lineup cards to autographed merchandise. Net proceeds from D-backs Authentics sales benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. D-backs Authentics will be located at section 134 on the main concourse or on Twitter @DbacksAuthentic. 
  • D-BACKS BASEBALL ACADEMY YOUTH CLINICS: D-backs Baseball Academy coaches will host two free clinics for kids at Futures Field located in the Phoenix Children's Hospital Sandlot at each D-backs home game starting one hour before first pitch and at the end of the fourth inning.
  • LA TERRAZA: Fans can enjoy a Latin vibe in the Upper Right Field Concourse at every Friday, Saturday and Sunday home game, which includes specialized décor, Latin music and authentic regional food from local favorites such as El Güero Canelo and La Carreta de Lily.   • D-BACKS LICENSE PLATES: fans will have the opportunity to purchase the official D-backs license plate during each D-backs Saturday home game. The Arizona Department of Transportation will have a table on the main concourse at section 132 where fans can purchase or renew their D-backs license plate. Fans that purchase or renew their D-backs license plate at the game will also receive a limited-edition D-backs license plate t-shirt. The D-backs license plate costs $25 and $17 from each plate benefits the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.   • MILITARY AND FIRST RESPONDERS DISCOUNTS, presented by GEICO: The D-backs and GEICO will offer discounts on single-game ticket prices for all military active duty, reserve, retired and veterans, as well as active or retired fire and police personnel with valid ID, including 50 percent off every Sunday and up to 35 percent off on select games.
