Homestand Highlights: July 2-12

Beers of The K, Faith & Family Day and KidsFest All Part of Event-Filled Homestand

 

 

KANSAS CITY, MO (July 1, 2015) - The Kansas City Royals return to Kauffman Stadium before the All-Star break for a season-long 11-game homestand against the Minnesota Twins (July 2-5), Tampa Bay Rays (July 6-9) and Toronto Blue Jays (July 10-12). Throughout the homestand, the Club will host great events including Beers of The K (July 3), the Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular (July 4), Faith and Family Day (July 11) and KidsFest (July 12). In addition, fans have many opportunities to get giveaways including a trucker-style baseball cap (July 4), T-Shirt Tuesday (July 7) and Mystery Gift Card (July 10). Thursday, July 2 - Minnesota Twins vs. Royals, 7:10 p.m.

  • GordoNation - Fans can enjoy being a part of GordoNation, a special seating section in left field reserved for die-hard Alex Gordon fans on Thursday home games throughout the season. Fans who already purchased tickets for the sold-out section will receive a lower-level ticket in left field and the second of three Charlie Hustle brand GordoNation t-shirts (photo attached). ·        All You Can Eat Seats - During select Thursday home games throughout the season, fans can purchase All You Can Eat Seats located in the Loge Level (Sec. 319 - 325), which includes unlimited ballpark fare. Friday, July 3 - Minnesota Twins vs. Royals, 7:10 p.m.

  •         Beers of The K - The Royals will host a special pregame beer event in the Hall of Fame Pavilion Tent. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., fans can sample a variety of specialty beers while listening to music from DJ Ashton Martin. Fans who already purchased tickets for the sold-out event will receive a ticket to that night's game, admission to Beers of The K and a Royals koozie (photo attached). ·        Buck Night - Every Friday, fans can enjoy a special Buck Night, presented by Visit KC, as hot dogs and peanuts are just $1 each all night long. Saturday, July 4 - Minnesota Twins vs. Royals, 6:15 p.m.

·        Fireworks Spectacular - Fans will enjoy a special Fourth of July fireworks extravaganza following the conclusion of the Twins vs. Royals game, presented by Hy-Vee and Pepsi.

·        Trucker-Style Baseball Cap - The first 10,000 fans will receive a blue and white trucker-style baseball cap, courtesy of The Kansas City Steak Company (photo attached).

·        610 Saturday - The Royals have teamed up with Entercom and 610 Sports Radio for special pre-game festivities outside Rivals Sports Bar that include 610 Sports Radio personalities, special guests, food and drink specials and much more.   • Student Night presented by INK Magazine - Rivals Outfield Plaza or Hy-Vee View Level tickets are available for Wednesday home games for youth and students with a valid ID at the Kauffman Stadium Box Office for just $8. All Student Nights include pre-game food and beverage specials available at the Boulevard Grill.
  • Local Music Showcase presented by INK Magazine - Catch a free pre-game concert on us! Every Wednesday Student Night also features live local music prior to the game in the Outfield Experience.
