Hunger Doesn't Take a Break! Phanatic Food Drive to be held on Monday
Special Phans Feeding Families Lunchtime Event Hosted by Citizens Bank to Benefit Philabundance
WHAT: It's a team effort. The All-Star break may be next week but the need for hunger relief never stops. Phillies fans are continuing their efforts to help fight hunger in the Delaware Valley with a special lunchtime event at the Comcast Center. The event features appearances by the Phillie Phanatic and Phillies Ballgirls. 98.1 WOGL will also take part in the festivities.
Fans are invited to show their support by bringing a non-perishable food item for collection, buying a Phans Feeding Families pin on-site or making a donation.
Each $5 Phans Feeding Families commemorative pin, which provides seven meals for families in need, can also be purchased at Citizens Bank Park at the Majestic Clubhouse Store and NewsStands as well as online.
