Pence day to day with tight right hamstring
August 26th, 2016
LOS ANGELES -- Giants right fielder Hunter Pence left Thursday night's 4-0 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers after five innings with a tight right hamstring.
Giants manager Bruce Bochy rated Pence's playing status as day to day.
After grounding out to second base in the fifth inning, Pence manned his position in the bottom of the inning but was replaced defensively by Gorkys Hernández in the sixth.
Pence missed 48 games with an injured right hamstring earlier this season.
