ICYMI: Padres bats come alive to back Kennedy
The Friars came out swinging on Wednesday, pounding out 16 hits en route to a 9-1 victory in the series finale at AT&T Park. Indeed, Wednesday's game had a little bit of everything for the Padres, including a stellar pitching performance by starter Ian Kennedy, who gave up only one run and struck out five in seven innings pitched against the Giants. The game also featured rookie Austin Hedges' first Major League start, along with his first Major League hit and RBI.
