Option 1B Jesus Aguilar to Columbus

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:

Selected the contract of LHP MICHAEL ROTH (#52) from the AAA Columbus Clippers.

Optioned 1B JESUS AGUILAR to AAA Columbus.

Transferred LHP NICK HAGADONE from the 15-day to the 60-day Disabled List.

Roth, 25, has spent the entire season in AAA Columbus, posting a record of 7-6 with a 4.16 ERA in 19 starts for the Clippers (114.2IP, 126H, 53ER, 37BB, 70K, .281 avg). The Greer, SC product and University of South Carolina alum was signed by Cleveland as a free agent in January and invited to Major League camp as a non-roster player. He appeared in 22 games (1 GS) with the Los Angeles Angels during the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
