Indians promote RHP Danny Salazar from Columbus

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following transactions relative to the Major League roster:

Recalled RHP DANNY SALAZAR (#31) from the AAA Columbus Clippers.

Optioned RHP AUSTIN ADAMS to AAA Columbus.

Salazar is making his first Major League start of the 2015 season today in Minneapolis after being optioned to AAA Columbus on March 27. He made one appearance for the Clippers on April 10 at Indianapolis, throwing 80 pitches with 7 strikeouts over 6.0 shutout innings (6.0IP, 4H, 0R, 0BB, 7K).
