Indians re-sign RHP Jarrett Grube

The Cleveland Indians today announced the club has re-signed free agent RHP Jarrett Grube to a Minor League contract with a non-roster invitation to Major League spring training camp.
 
Grube \grewb\, 34, posted a record of 9-0 with a 2.26 ERA in 15 games/13 starts (79.2IP, 69H, 20ER, 19BB, 68K, .238 avg) after signing with the organization in June out of the Mexican League. The native of Ft. Wayne, IN went 6-0-1 with a 1.84 ERA in 10 second half games/8 starts (58.2IP, 51H, 12ER, 13BB, 45K) and was 0-0 w/a 3.52 ERA in the playoffs (3GS) for the IL Champs. Jarrett is a veteran of 12 Minor League seasons between four organizations, starting his professional career in the Rockies system in 2004 out of Indiana State. He appeared in one Major League contest in May of 2014 with the Los Angeles Angels.
