Indians reduce spring roster by four (4) players

CLEVELAND, OH -- The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League Spring Training roster:

Optioned INF ERIK GONZALEZ to AA Akron.

Optioned OF CARLOS MONCRIEF to AAA Columbus. 

Reassigned LHP NICK MARONDE and OF JAMES RAMSEY to Minor League camp. 

The Major League Spring Training roster now consists of 48 players.
