Indians announce spring broadcast schedule

The season is getting closer. The Indians released their Spring Training broadcast schedule on Thursday, and all of their games will be available on indians.com. Eight games will be televised and 15 will be on the radio.
The eight television games will be broadcast on SportsTime Ohio, with Matt Underwood and Rick Manning describing the action. SportsTime Ohio will televise three games against the Reds (March 1-3), as well as games against the Giants, Mariners, Royals, D-backs and Brewers.

The 15 radio games will be split between three different stations. Nine games will be available on WTAM-100, the team's flagship station, and another three will be on FM flagship home WMMS-100.7. The final three broadcast games will be found on 99.1 FM in Cleveland.
The Indians' spring opener will be March 1 against Cincinnati, and the club will wrap up its Cactus League slate on March 31 against the Reds in Goodyear, Ariz., before traveling to Texas for a pair of exhibition games against the Rangers prior to Opening Day in Cleveland on April 4 against the Boston Red Sox.
