Mets to reportedly use Bruce as everyday RF

will begin the 2017 season as the Mets' primary right fielder, according to the New York Post.
After being acquired from the Reds last season, Bruce was actively shopped by the Mets this offseason, but nothing serious came of it.
With the team's outfield now consisting of , and Bruce, that could leave as the odd man out. The 23-year-old could be part of the Mets' outfield mix, but he also has options available and would get more regular at-bats with Triple-A Las Vegas.
Bruce, a nine-year veteran, has been a consistent player during his time in the Majors. He's played in at least 137 games every year since 2010 and has hit 20-plus home runs in all but one season.
In 50 games for the Mets last season, Bruce hit .219 with eight home runs and 19 RBIs.
