Hellickson goes on DL with right wrist sprain

The Nationals recalled right-handed pitchers and from Triple-A Syracuse and optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday. Additionally, they placed right-handed pitcher on the 10-day disabled list (retroactive to Thursday) with a right wrist sprain. 
Cordero, 26, joins the Nationals for his second Major League stint of the season. He has appeared in two games out of the Nationals bullpen, making his Major League debut on Aug. 2 vs. Cincinnati. He is 4-1 with six saves and a 1.96 ERA (10 ER/46.0 IP) in 41 games for Triple-A Syracuse in 2018. He has struck out 53 batters and has not allowed a home run in 2018.
Rodriguez, 25, returns to the Nationals to make his fifth start of the season. In his last three starts for Triple-A Syracuse, he is 2-0 with a 0.51 ERA (1 ER/17.2 IP) with 19 strikeouts and six walks along the way. He has appeared in six games (four starts), pitching to a 5.84 ERA (16 ER/24.2 IP) with 20 strikeouts. The Nationals have won three of his four starts.
Gott, 25, has appeared in 20 games out of Washington's bullpen, securing two holds while going 0-2 with a 5.68 ERA.
Hellickson, 31, is 5-3 with a 3.57 ERA in 18 starts for the Nationals. This will be his second stint on the disabled list this season.
