Rollins' return to field still up in the air

TORONTO -- Jimmy Rollins started his second consecutive game as the Phillies' designated hitter on Thursday.

Rollins has not started at shortstop since Sunday, when he tweaked his right groin. Could he play at shortstop this weekend against the Mets at Citi Field?

"We'll see," Ryne Sandberg said. "It's day to day with how he's doing. He felt good about [a pregame workout Wednesday]. Good progress with that. I think that keeps it a day-to-day thing, though, so that's positive."
