Jon Griffin Homers in Five Consecutive At-Bats
Red hot.
First baseman Jon Griffin of the Mobile BayBears, Double-A affiliate of the Diamondbacks, etched his name in the record books when he hit four home runs in a single game yesterday. Griffin then added another in his first at-bat of today's game. That's five consecutive home runs.
When you're hot, you're hot.
I call this the @JonGriff33 effect... Hitting 5 HR in 5 straight at bats will do that to a media contact's phone pic.twitter.com/RXygkkjDlV

Jon Griffin's 4-homer game is only the 2nd in Southern League History. George Kalafatis also did it on 7/1/69 for Montgomery. @MiLB #Dbacks
