GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Todd Frazier has what seems to be a pretty accurate theory about the back-to-back homers he hit with Jose Abreu in the fourth inning of an 8-1 White Sox victory over the Padres on Sunday at Camelback Ranch.
"If we can mimic each other, it's going to be a heck of a year," Frazier said. "That's what we are here for, trying to knock in runs."

Abreu's first spring homer came on a 1-1 pitch from Cesar Vargas, who took over in the third in relief of Padres starter Robbie Erlin. Frazier connected on a 0-1 offering from Vargas, with his first White Sox homer almost clearing the back fence in left.
It's an occurrence White Sox fans and the organization would like to see numerous times this season.
"That was awesome," said White Sox starting pitcher Carlos Rodon. "It's pretty cool. It's fun to have that kind of power in the lineup. I would like to see that quite often."

"Trying to find your zone and trying to hit the ball hard, and that's all you can really ask for," said Frazier, who also hit a double off the wall. "Two good at-bats today."
Frazier joked that the home run took a lot of stress off his back. But in reality, he was getting regular Cactus League work and marveling at Abreu's effort.
"The ball he hit out, it was smooth," said Frazier of Abreu. "It was effortless, and those are the best ones right there, the ones you don't feel. Trying to mimic what he did."
"Hopefully that's the start of something that they can get on a little bit of a roll," White Sox manager Robin Ventura said. "You want those guys playing as much in the same game as you can make it."
