After he allowed six runs (three earned) on nine hits over 5 2/3 innings in his last start, José Berríos rebounded in a big way Sunday as he fired six scoreless innings, yielding four hits and two walks, to help lead Triple-A Rochester past Norfolk, 3-2.
Berrios, No. 15 on the Top 100, struck out the side in the first inning en route to fanning nine hitters in the outing, which saw the Twins' No. 1 prospect throw 64 of his 95 pitches for strikes.

The performance was the latest in what has been a series of strong outings for the 22-year-old right-hander. Since his start on June 23, Berrios has posted a 0.86 ERA while striking out 45 hitters in 41 2/3 innings across his last six turns for Rochester.
Berrios is 9-4 in 14 starts for the Red Wings, with 2.42 ERA and a 94-32 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 89 1/3 innings.

• For a second straight start, No. 77 overall prospect Kolby Allard (Braves' No. 5) fired six scoreless innings, striking out seven, to pick up the win for Rookie-level Danville. Since his demotion from Class A Rome, the 18-year-old lefty has pitched to a 1.32 ERA with 33 strikeouts over 27 1/3 frames.
• Brewers No. 11 prospectIsan Diaz collected four of Class A Wisconsin's 19 hits in a 16-5 win against Dayton. One of the 20-year-old's hits was a double, his 23rd of the season, and he also tallied a pair of RBIs.
• Francisco Mejia wasted no time in extending his hitting streak to 36 games as the Indians' No. 8 prospect delivered an RBI single in the first inning of Class A Advanced Lynchburg's win versus Wilmington. He ultimately tallied three RBIs and went 2-for-5, marking his 16th mutli-hit game during his streak.
• Indians No. 21 prospect Willi Castro connected on a fifth-inning grand slam and notched a career-high six RBIs for Class A Lake County in a 9-4 win over Quad Cities. The homer was the sixth of the season for the 19-year-old shortstop, who's hitting .251/.281/.377.
• Mariners No. 6 prospect D.J. Peterson slugged his 16th home run and fifth in 15 games since being promoted Triple-A Tacoma in a win against Colorado Springs. Patrick Kivlehan (Mariners' No. 19) also had a big game for the Rainiers, going 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs and three RBIs.

• Mets No. 17 prospect Thomas Szapucki continued his dominant start to the season as he fired 7 1/3 innings of one-run ball for Rookie-level Kingsport to lower his season ERA to 0.62 through five starts. He piled up nine more strikeouts, giving him 47 punchouts in 29 innings.
• A day removed from collecting four hits, Orioles No. 3 prospect Chance Sisco doubled and walked in a 3-for-3 performance to lift his season batting average and on-base percentage to .324 and .414, respectively, in a win over Richmond. Pacing the Baysox on the mound was David Hess (Orioles' No. 13), who allowed one unearned run on one hit over six innings in his best start of the season.
