Juan Pierre's favorite player: Billy Hamilton

MIAMI -- Juan Pierre continues to have an affinity for players who rely heavily on their legs. Few possess more blinding speed than Cincinnati center fielder Billy Hamilton.

So it's not surprising that Pierre calls Hamilton his favorite current player to watch.

In 14 seasons from 2000-13, Pierre stole 614 bases, the 14th most in MLB history since 1900.

Hamilton stole 56 bases in 2014, his first full big league season.

"He's definitely the most exciting player for me to watch," Pierre said. "That's the type of game I played. I enjoy that type of baseball."
