Justin Maxwell to be Thursday's guest on Astroline

Program broadcasted live from the ESPN Club on Disney's Boardwalk in Orlando

Astros outfielder Justin Maxwell will be the guest on this week's Astroline call-in radio show, which will be broadcasted live on Thursday from the ESPN Club on Disney's Boardwalk in Orlando. This marks the first broadcast of the 2012-13 offseason from Florida and the 14th overall. The show will be aired on the club's flagship radio station, SportsTalk 790 KBME, at 7 p.m. CT.

Hall of Fame broadcaster Milo Hamilton is back again this week to serve as the host of Astroline and will be joined by Astros Social Media Director Kelly George, who will take fan questions via Twitter at twitter.com/astros either before or during the broadcast. Fans may also post questions prior to the broadcast on the Astros Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Astros. As always, fans will also have the option to call the show with questions at 713-212-5790.

Astroline, which is presented by Budweiser, is being broadcast live each Thursday from 7-8 p.m. CT during the 2012-13 offseason. Following Thursday's program, the show will air one more time in Orlando, FL, which is near the team and their Spring Training facility in Kissimmee.

Maxwell, 29, was one of the club's most productive hitters in 2012, leading the club with 18 home runs, while driving in 53 RBI in 124 games. He enters this season as a likely starter in the Astros outfield and has appeared in six games so far this spring, hitting .250 (4x16) with two doubles, one home run and two RBI. Maxwell joined the Astros organization in April of last season after being claimed off waivers from the New York Yankees.

Hamilton, who will call the Astros games on KBME on Thursday and Friday of this week, officially retired from the radio booth following the 2012 season, which was his 28th year with the Astros and his 59th year broadcasting Major League Baseball. Although he retired from calling games full time, Hamilton will remain active with the Astros moving forward.
