WASHINGTON -- In the first inning of Friday night's Game 1 of the National League Division Series, Nationals ace plunked in the hand.
The Dodgers' third baseman later responded in the most emphatic way possible -- by launching a two-run homer into the visiting bullpen to cap the decisive three-run third-inning rally in a 4-3 win at Nationals Park.

The blast, a projected 379 feet from home plate according to Statcast™, gave the Dodgers a 4-0 lead.
Turner was simply picking up where he left off last October, when he torched the Mets in their five-game NLDS. Turner batted .526 with six doubles and four RBIs last year, but Friday's shot was his first career postseason homer.
The dinger was made possible in large part because shortstop , who went deep to straightaway center in the first, barely beat out a potential inning-ending double-play ball. He would score on the homer, after rookie had come around to score on 's RBI single.
