Omaha Storm Chasers (10-9)

All Pacific Coast League teams had Wednesday off. Omaha's road trip continues on Thursday at Colorado Springs. The Sky Sox are in their first year of affiliation with Milwaukee. John Lamb is scheduled to start for the Storm Chasers.

NW Arkansas Naturals (10-9)

The Naturals moved to 3-0 in the series with their fourth straight win overall. Andy Ferguson (6.0 IP, 2 H, 2 BB, 6 SO) combined with Ali Williams (1.0 IP) and Daniel Stumpf (2.0 IP) for the shutout. Ferguson has a 0.45 ERA on the year (1 ER in 20.0 IP). Alex Liddi had two hits, including a go-ahead RBI double in the third. Balbino Fuenmayor capped a four-run fifth with a two-run double.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (9-10)

Wilmington lost a pitchers' duel at home, with Myrtle Beach plating a pair in the eighth to take a 2-1 lead. 2014 third-rounder and 24th-ranked Royals prospect Eric Skoglund tossed 7.0 shutout innings, fanning five while allowing three hits and a walk. His mound opponent, Jonathan Martinez, tossed 6.0 scoreless frames. Frank Schwindel doubled in the seventh and scored on a two-base hit by Mauricio Ramos.

Lexington evened a home series at a game apiece. Emilio Ogando tossed 4.1 scoreless innings and Nik Stephenson (4.2 IP, 2 ER) won in relief. Wander Franco tripled home a pair in Lexington's four-run first. Samir Duenez recorded two hits and two RBI, with Elier Hernandez hitting a solo homer in the third. Franco, Hernandez and Stephenson are all ranked in MLB.com's list of top 30 Royals prospects.
