Omaha Storm Chasers (4-3)

Brett Eibner had a career day and the Storm Chasers set several stadium records in a rout of Memphis. Eibner, KC's second-round pick in 2010, posted his first five-hit game as a professional, finishing 5-for-5 with a double, two home runs, a walk and nine RBI. He hit a pair of three-run homers and is batting .409 (9-for-22) on the year. The nine RBI were the most by an Omaha player since Mike Moustakas recorded 11 on Aug. 30, 2010. Omaha's 29 hits marked a new high at Werner Park and the 20 runs are a new record for the home club. Matt Fields delivered five hits, an RBI and three runs. Jesus Flores and Paulo Orlando added four hits apiece. Chris Dwyer (5.0 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 4 BB, 2 SO) evened his record at 1-1.

NW Arkansas Naturals (2-4)

Wednesday was a league-wide off day in the Texas League. The Naturals traveled home after a season-opening road trip to Frisco and Midland. They now play the same two teams in Springdale, beginning with the home opener on Thursday vs. Frisco (Rangers).

Wilmington Blue Rocks (2-4)

The Blue Rocks lost a morning game vs. Myrtle Beach. Starter Yender Caramo allowed four runs on six hits and a walk over 5.0 innings. Aroni Nina followed with 3.0 scoreless frames, scattering four walks and a hit. Raul Mondesi had a single, a walk, two runs and two stolen bases. Terrance Gore and Jack Lopez also stole two bases apiece.

Lexington Legends (3-4)

Rome 5, Lexington 2

HR: None

Lexington lost a morning game to finish 1-2 vs. Rome. Jake Junis fanned six while yielding three runs (one earned) over 4.0 innings. The offense was held to three hits, with Michael Antonio, Alfredo Escalera and Elier Hernandez recording singles. The Legends wrapped up the homestand vs. West Virginia and Rome at 3-4. They will face the same two clubs on the road.
