Omaha lost the opener as Albuquerque broke open a 1-1 game with three in the seventh. Chris Dwyer (6.0 IP+3, 4 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 2 SO) had a no-hitter until allowing a leadoff homer in the fifth. Christian Colon's single in the sixth tied the game at 1-1. Johnny Giavotella led Omaha with two hits. A pair of seven-inning games were scheduled for today, beginning at 12:05 Central.

NW Arkansas Naturals (26-45)

NW Arkansas 4, Arkansas 0
WP: Sugar Ray Marimon (4-8)
HR: None

Sugar Ray Marimon tossed 7.0 shutout stanzas to lead the Naturals to a fourth straight win and third over Arkansas. Marimon scattered two hits and three walks while fanning seven. Matt Fields recorded three RBI, including a two-run single in the third. He is batting .440 (11-for-25) with four home runs and 11 RBI over his last eight games. Brett Eibner added two hits and two runs. KC's second-round pick in 2010 is batting .355 (11-for-31) over his last eight games.

Carolina's All-Star squad posted five runs in both the fourth and fifth en route to a lopsided win over the California League team in San Jose. Wilmington pitcher Kyle Smith recorded the game's final out on a grounder to short. The Blue Rocks will host this game in 2014.

Lexington's Christian Binford, Alec Mills and Raul Mondesi were members of the South squad at the South Atlantic League All-Star Game. Binford needed just four pitches for a scoreless second inning. Mondesi was 2-for-2 after entering in the fourth, while Mills did not pitch due to injury.
