Matusz, Paredes and Harvey working back to O's from various injuries

BALTIMORE -- Kevin Gausman threw a two-inning simulated game at the O's Spring Training facility in Sarasota, Fla., on Wednesday, and the right-hander remains on track to re-join the Orioles on April 19.
Gausman, who is rehabbing from right shoulder tendinitis, will fly to Baltimore and could be in the O's clubhouse on Thursday before heading to Double-A Bowie to pitch three or four innings on Saturday. He would pitch for Class A Advanced Frederick after that and, assuming all went well, rejoin Baltimore.
Lefty reliever Brian Matusz will throw an inning on Thursday and Friday for Double-A Bowie, according to manager Buck Showalter. The expectation is still that Matusz, who is on the disabled list with a left intercostal strain, will be able to join the team on Sunday.
Jimmy Paredes (left wrist sprain) also started taking dry swings and Hunter Harvey -- the team's top pitching prospect is slated to throw in a simulated game on Saturday. Harvey has been dealing with a groin strain.
