Wild Thing's Done, call the Bullpen and get Kelso Up

The CBS hit sitcom "Two and a Half Men" has seen rocky seas in recent months. The show's star, Charlie “The Wild Thing” “Tiger Blood” “Warlock” Sheen, has moved on to a new stage in his career, leaving the other one and a half men in a boat with a hole in it…and it is sinking fast. So what do you do when this kind of crisis hits a popular TV series? You plug the hole.

CBS has apparently done just that, Mr. Sheen will be replaced by Ashton Kutcher. Wait, really? I thought he was doing…Ok, Ashton it is. Hey, say what you will about “The Kutch,” but he more than held his own playing Kelso on the FOX comedy That 70’s Show and knows his sitcom ins and outs.

I worked for the Punk’d creator for a while. He’s an OK guy, and I’m glad he is going to be on the show. Hey, if nothing else it will help get a lot of people who count on that show back to work. They have all been in a holding pattern since Charlie left or was sent packing - whatever story you believe. The bottom line is there are hard-working grips, camera operators, P.A.s, A.D.s, prop masters and so on that call Two and a Half Men their livelihood.

I’m wishing everyone on the show and my former boss all the best.
