Gerardo Parra has already collected some big hits since a July 31 trade brought him from Arizona, and one of the players on the other end of the deal is also contributing for his new team. Right-hander Anthony Banda pitched six scoreless innings for Class A South Bend on Friday, and he has allowed only one run and eight hits in 11 innings for his new organization so far, with 12 strikeouts. Banda turns 21 on Sunday.
