Had Been On Triple A OKC Roster

HOUSTON, TX - The Astros have traded left-handed pitcher Travis Blackley to the Texas Rangers for a player to be named later and cash considerations, General Manager Jeff Luhnow announced today.

At the time of the transaction, Blackley was on the Triple A Oklahoma City roster. He had been with the Astros Major League club since the start of the regular season before being designated for assignment on August 8. He cleared waivers before accepting an outright assignment to Oklahoma City, reporting to the RedHawks yesterday.
