Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today that left-handed pitcher Dillon Overton has been claimed off waivers by San Diego.
Overton, 25, has posted a 6.38 ERA (13 ER, 18.1 IP) with 8 strikeouts and 2 walks in 9 games (1 start) over 2 stints with Seattle this season.
