LHP John Lannan optioned to Triple-A Syracuse

          Following the second game of today’s doubleheader, the Washington Nationals optioned left-handed pitcher John Lannan to Syracuse of the Triple-A International League. Nationals Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo made the announcement.

          Lannan, 27, is 2-0 with a 3.46 ERA in two starts this season with Washington.
