Lineup breakdown: Braves-Dodgers, Game 3

A look at tonight's starting lineups for Game 3 of the National League Division Series between the Braves and Dodgers:

BRAVES

Atlanta's lineup stays the same for Sunday's Game 3, with Evan Gattis remaining in left field and in the cleanup spot. Gattis has reached base in four of his seven plate appearances in the series.

The hitters in the Braves' order don't have much experience against Dodgers rookie left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu. But Freddie Freeman has had moderate success against him, with three hits and two walks in six plate appearances.

Chris Johnson, who has three hits in his first eight postseason at-bats, will hit sixth again. Johnson mauled left-handed pitchers during the regular season, compiling a .383/.413/.526 slash line.

DODGERS

Manager Don Mattingly opted to go with the same lineup that earned his club a split in Atlanta. Rookie Yasiel Puig remains in the No. 5 spot, and Carl Crawford will lead off again. This season, Crawford hit .304 during the regular season when hitting in the leadoff spot.

Only one hitter on the Dodgers' roster has ever faced Teheran, and it's Michael Young, who has been limited to just one pinch-hit appearance this series.

Hanley Ramirez remains in the No. 3 spot in the order, as he's continued to rake in the postseason. The Dodgers' shortstop has four hits in nine at-bats during the playoffs, and he has knocked in four of the L.A.'s nine runs.
