As in weeks past, the Tigers want to take an opportunity to highlight what our partners are doing to help those in need due to the coronavirus pandemic. This week we take a look at what one owner of three Little Caesars franchises in Macomb County is doing to help his community.
Jeff Silverman wanted to make sure he was helping his community during this time of need. Silverman and his wife, Amanda, regularly donate pizzas -- about 4,000 leftover pizzas per year, to help feed the hungry in their community, and since the pandemic, they increased their efforts. The couple has donated nearly 1,000 pizzas to first responders and healthcare workers throughout Macomb County. In May alone, the three Little Caesars stores donated 100 pizzas to the Martha T. Berry Medical Center in Mount Clemens, nearly 125 pizzas to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office and 300 pizzas to McLaren Macomb hospital.
“This is the Little Caesars way,” Silverman said. “We need to be a staple in the community and give back to the community.”
Thank you to our partners that continue to help their community through donations of all kinds and exemplifying what it means to be #TogetherDetroit.
