Williamsport was energized on Day 9, as competition determined who would play in this year's Little League World Series Championship.
The first game of the day pitted South Korea against Panama. Korean starting pitcher Youbin Choi would fire six strong innings to accompany his team's 11 hits, as the Asia-Pacific Region representative would win the game, 7-2. The second game featured a matchup between New York and Tennessee, where the boys from Endwell, N.Y would win 4-2, entering the world championship game with an astounding 4-0 record in the LLWS and an even more amazing 23-0 mark since they began play as a team this summer.
