Longtime Dodger employees to be honored pregame today

LOS ANGELES - The Dodgers will pay tribute to 76 employees with 25 or more years of service before tonight's 7:10 p.m. All longtime employees will be recognized pregame on the field. Headlining the list of those to be recognized are Hall of Famers Vin Scully (66 seasons), Tommy Lasorda (66 seasons), Special Advisor to the Chairman Don Newcombe (58 seasons), Spanish-language Hall of Fame broadcaster Jaime Jarrín (57 seasons), Dodger broadcaster Manny Mota (47 seasons), Dodger alum "Sweet" Lou Johnson (35 seasons), Dodger alum Ron Cey (31 seasons), Dodger broadcaster Rick Monday (30 seasons) and organist Nancy Bea Hefley (28 seasons).
 
"We salute our longtime employees today and thank them all for their decades-long dedication and exceptional service to the Dodgers," said Dodger President and CEO Stan Kasten. "These employees are so very important to our organization. It takes a team effort to deliver the greatest possible experience to our fans at Dodger Stadium each season. They are a very special team."
