KANSAS CITY -- The Indians expect to have outfielder back on Tuesday as they open a two-game series in Colorado.
Chisenhall, who has been on the 7-day concussion disabled list, went 1-for-3 in a rehab assignment for Double-A Akron on Saturday night, and was scheduled to be the designated hitter for the RubberDucks on Sunday.
"He moved around really well and ran the bases a couple of times," Indians manager Terry Francona said. "From all accounts, everything went well. As long as he's OK [Sunday], he'll meet us in Denver."
Chisenhall had played 33 games and hit .261 with six home runs and 22 RBIs when he went on the DL retroactive to May 23.
