Major League Baseball Statement regarding the Los Angeles Dodgers

Major League Baseball issued the following statement today:

"Major League Baseball appreciates the letter sent by six members of Congress, who made a thoughtful and fair proposal to resolve the ongoing dispute over the distribution of Los Angeles Dodgers games. Like the Dodgers, MLB supports the proposal. We believe that Time Warner's acceptance of the proposal is in the best interests of loyal Dodger fans who deserve to see the games. We applaud Time Warner's willingness to accept the proposal and are hopeful that Dodger fans will soon have access to game broadcasts."
