Manuel liking 1-2 punch of Revere, Rollins

PHILADELPHIA -- It has only been three games, but Phillies manager Charlie Manuel likes the look of Ben Revere and Jimmy Rollins atop his lineup.

"It's almost like having [Juan] Pierre in the leadoff hole," Manuel said. "Jimmy has a stronger bat when we've got runners in scoring position from the seventh, eighth and ninth hitters. He gets extra-base hits. He gets doubles, triples and homers. Ben can get on and steal. I think he's more apt right now because of his speed, although Jimmy knows how. Right now, it kind of matches up on our team."

But the lineup could get a different look once Delmon Young and Carlos Ruiz rejoin the team, giving Manuel more options.
