Mariners announce Spring Training roster moves

PEORIA, Ariz. -- Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik announced the following roster moves at the Mariners Major League spring camp on Friday.

Optioned to AAA TACOMA (4):

Left-Handed Pitcher (1):    Bobby LaFromboise

Right-Handed Pitcher (1): Yoervis Medina

Infielders (2):                   Vinnie Catricala, Carlos Triunfel

Optioned to AA JACKSON (2):

Outfielders (2):                 Francisco Martinez, Julio Morban

Re-Assigned to Minor League Camp (1):

Right-Handed Pitcher (1):  Andrew Carraway

Today's roster moves leave the Mariners with 40 players in their Major League camp: 29 roster players and 11 non-roster invitees.
