Mariners announce two spring training roster moves

Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik announced the following roster moves at the Mariners Major League spring camp Saturday.

Released from Roster (2):

Right-handed Pitcher (1):  Jon Garland

Infielder (1):                      Mike Jacobs

Both players requested their release and the club agreed to their request.

Today's roster moves leave the Mariners with 32 players in their Major League camp: 27 roster players and 5 non-roster invitees.
