Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced the following roster moves prior to today's game at the Cincinnati Reds.
Taylor, 25, was batting .294 (45x153) with 31 runs, 14 doubles, 3 triples, 2 home runs, 14 RBI and 8 stolen bases in 39 games with AAA Tacoma. He's appeared in 33 games at shortstop, 3 at second base and 3 at third base this season with the Rainiers.
 
Taylor appeared in the Majors with Seattle in both 2014 and 2015. In a combined 84 big league games, Taylor has hit .239 (55x230) with 11 doubles, 1 triple and 10 RBI in 84 games.
 
Marte, 22, left Saturday's game at Cincinnati in the bottom on the fifth inning after spraining his left thumb sliding into second base on a stolen base in the top of the fifth inning. In 40 games this season, Marte is hitting .276 (43x156) with 9 doubles, 2 triples, 1 home run and 31 RBI.
