Mariners recall LHP Bobby LaFromboise and RHP Hector Noesi from AAA Tacoma, option RHP Blake Beavan to AAA Tacoma, RHP Erasmo Ramirez to Short-A Everett

LaFromboise and Noesi will be available for tonight's game versus Los Angeles

SEATTLE, Wash. -- Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik announced today the following roster moves:

  • RHP Erasmo Ramirez optioned to short-A Everett.
  • RHP Blake Beavan optioned to AAA Tacoma.
  • LHP Bobby LaFromboise recalled from AAA Tacoma.
  • RHP Hector Noesi recalled from AAA Tacoma.

LaFromboise (#30) and Noesi (#45) will be available out of the bullpen tonight for Seattle. Mariners relievers pitched 15.1 innings in the past three days. 

Ramirez will be able to remain on his regular turn with the AquaSox, and Beavan is projected to join the AAA rotation.

LaFromboise, 26, appeared in 3 games with Seattle this season, working a total of 2.1 innings. He did not allow a run in 2 of the 3 games. Overall had no decisions (1 hold) and a 7.71 ERA (2.1 IP, 2 ER). Was 4-0, 3.86 in 29 games with AAA Tacoma. 

Noesi, 26, is in his third stint with the Mariners this season (also: April 18-May 17 and May 27-June 5). In seven games with Seattle, Noesi was 0-1, 4.74 (19.0 IP, 10 ER). He has also pitched with AA Jackson (1-0, 0.00 in 2 GS) and Tacoma (2-1, 7.20 in 8 games, 5 GS) this season.

Beavan, 24, will join the Rainiers for the second time this season (also: April 30-June 6). In two separate stints with the Mariners, Beavan was a combined 0-2, 6.13 in 12 games (2 starts).

Ramirez, 23, was recalled yesterday and made his first Major League start of the season, recording no-decision vs. the Red Sox (4.1 IP, 7 ER).
