SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Friday was MLB Snapchat Day around Spring Training and for Mariners fans, that meant a behind-the-scenes look at everything from coaches dancing to relievers chugging Red Bull.
Mariners baseball information manager Fernando Alcala and Kathryn Buckles of MLB.com provided photos and video clips throughout the day, from the time the Mariners arrived at the clubhouse Friday morning until they arrived back at their Peoria Sports Complex facility after beating the Giants, 5-4, in their Cactus League road contest at Scottsdale Stadium.
Fans had a chance to see glimpses from the team bus, the dugout, the bullpen and everywhere in between.
Felix Hernandez and Franklin Gutierrez displayed the starting lineup early in the day.
"I'm hitting fourth. We'll see," Gutierrez said with a smile, before proceeding to go 1-for-2 with an RBI double and a walk later in the afternoon.
