PEORIA, Ariz. -- Broadcaster Aaron Goldsmith, in his fourth season covering the Mariners, has had a front-row seat this spring watching the new coaching staff and front office put together the 2016 club that broke camp Saturday in preparation for Monday's Opening Day in Texas.
Goldsmith gave his thoughts earlier this spring on a number of topics, including what manager Scott Servais and general manager Jerry Dipoto have done with the team in their first months on the job, who he thinks will have a big impact and what might motivate Felix Hernandez to put together an impressive season this year.
