The Miami Marlins today announced their 2017 Minor League on-field personnel. The announcements were made by Marlins Vice President of Player Development Marc DelPiano.
Returning as Field Coordinator is Gary Cathcart. Additional Minor League coordinators and support staff for the Marlins will be: Joe Dillon -- Hitting Coordinator; Miguel Bonilla -- Pitching Coordinator; Paul Philips -- Catching Coordinator; Jorge Hernandez -- Infield Coordinator; Brendan Sagara -- Assistant Pitching Coordinator; Brian Bobier -- Athletic Training Coordinator; Mark Brennan -- Strength & Conditioning Coordinator; Andrew Gilligan -- Rehab Coordinator; Julio Bruno -- Latin American Field Coordinator; Bobby Ramos -- Advisor, Latin America and Chad Rhoades -- Rehab Pitching Coach.
Arnie Beyeler returns for his second season as Manager of Triple-A New Orleans. His coaching staff will include: Pitching Coach Scott Budner; Hitting Coach Kevin Witt; Coach Robert Rodriguez; Athletic Trainer Greg Harrel and Strength & Conditioning Coach Quentin Eberhardt.
At Double-A Jacksonville, Randy Ready has been named Manager. Joining him will be: Pitching Coach Storm Davis; Hitting Coach Jesus Merchan; Coach Angel Espada; Athletic Trainer Cesar Roman and Strength & Conditioning Coach Robert Reichert.
Kevin Randel has been named Manager of High-A Jupiter. His coaching staff will be: Pitching Coach Jeremy Powell; Hitting Coach Rey Noriega; Coach Jose Ceballos; Athletic Trainer Ben Cates and Strength & Conditioning Coach Tyler Grisdale.
At Low-A Greensboro, Todd Pratt has been named Manager. His coaching staff will be: Pitching Coach Mark DiFelice; Hitting Coach Frank Moore; Coach Danny Black; Athletic Trainer Michael Bibbo and Strength & Conditioning Coach Trevor Ging.
The Coaching staff at Short-A Batavia will include: Manager Mike Jacobs; Pitching Coach Jason Erickson; Hitting Coach Rigoberto Silverio; Coach TJ Gamba; Athletic Trainer Eric Reigelsberger and Strength & Conditioning Coach Brady Fitzgerald.
