Marlins announce Spring Training broadcast schedule

The Marlins will broadcast 15 of their Spring Training games on the Marlins Radio Network this year, with 14 of them on the new official English flagship station WINZ 940 AM and one on sister station WIOD 610 AM.

The Spanish flagship station, Radio Mambi WAQI 710 AM, will have 10 of the team's Grapefruit League games, while FOX Sports Florida will televise five contests.

The Marlins open their exhibition schedule on Feb. 26 against the University of Miami, a game that will air at 1:05 p.m. ET on WINZ. The preseason finale will be March 29 against the Yankees in Tampa, Fla., with FOX Sports Florida, WINZ and WAQI all carrying the 1:05 broadcast.

Hall of Fame broadcaster Dave Van Horne will be in his 14th season this year, while Glenn Geffner is also back for his seventh year on the Marlins Radio Network. Rich Waltz and Tommy Hutton will call games for FOX Sports Florida, with Spanish-language Hall of Fame broadcaster Felo Ramirez and Yiky Quintana on the call for Radio Mambi.

Each English radio broadcast will include live 30-minute pregame and postgame shows.
