Marlins Celebrate Twenty Years of Baseball with Fans' Choice Promotion

Miami, FL - The Marlins are celebrating their 20^th anniversary season in 2013 and are asking fans to select their favorite moments in the franchise's history by going to www.marlins.com/moments and making their selections through Friday, March 29. The Marlins have narrowed the list to 30 memorable moments, and the top 12 moments as selected by the fans will be featured in the Marlins 2013 Calendar, to be given away on Sunday, April 14 against the Phillies to the first 15,000 fans.  The calendar will be presented by Leon Medical Centers.  Fans also have the opportunity to "write in" their favorite moments if they are not listed on the page.

"No franchise has had as many memorable moments over their first 20 years of existence as have the Marlins," said Matt Britten, Director of Marketing and Promotions for the Miami Marlins.  "From two World Series championships to four no-hitters, numerous Rookie of the Year winners, the groundbreaking and opening of Marlins Park, and countless breath-taking moments throughout, it was an extremely difficult task just to narrow the list to 30.  We are looking forward to seeing which moments the fans determine are their favorites, and showcasing the top 12 in our annual calendar giveaway."
