Marlins spread FanFest out over 2 days

Be there Saturday and Sunday for autographs, batting cages, tickets and more

MIAMI -- FanFest has been such a hit in the past that the Marlins have decided to do it twice.
The organization announced on Thursday that its annual prelude to Spring Training will take place on Saturday and Sunday from noon-4 p.m. ET at Marlins Park. This is the first time FanFest, presented by Papa John's, is spanning two days.
Free to the public, FanFest also is the first day individual game tickets for the regular season will be on sale. The ticket windows open at 10 a.m. ET, and fans can purchase online at Marlins.com and MarlinsBeisbol.com.
For those interested in season-ticket packages, there are select-a-seat opportunities.

Along with being the retractable-roof home of the Marlins, Marlins Park also will be the site of first-round action in the World Baseball Classic in March. And on July 11, it will be the site of MLB's 2017 All-Star Game.
Fans are encouraged to check in using the MLB.com Ballpark app at FanFest; by doing so, they will have the chance to win two tickets to the first All-Star Game in South Florida.
In addition, any guest who purchases a season ticket plan at FanFest will be able to take batting practice in the visitors' batting cages and the chance to skip an autograph line. Plus, this year, fans who purchase a qualifying season ticket plan will guarantee access to purchase All-Star Week ticket strips. Fans can sit and select their seats for the 2017 season through a variety of new season ticket plans.
Tickets also will be on sale for the World Baseball Classic.
Team USA, the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Canada will play in Pool C at Miami.

The American squad will feature Marlins outfielders and and backup catcher A.J. Ellis. Right-hander will pitch for the Dominican Republic.
Fish Family season ticket holders, as well as all Marlins email subscribers at Marlins.com/insider, will have the ability to purchase single-game tickets ahead of the general public for both the regular season and Classic.
All current full and half Fish Family season ticket holders and group leaders will be invited to exclusive events, including a private autograph session and a special "Around the Horn" Q&A session with president of baseball operations Michael Hill and manager Don Mattingly.
FanFest also is an opportunity to get player autographs.
The Marlins open Spring Training on Tuesday at the Roger Dean Stadium complex in Jupiter, Fla.
